Poster Competition 2017

Once again, a poster competition will be organized at the DKG Annual Meeting. All participants whose posters are accepted by the Program Comittee are eligible (except the participants of the Walter-Hennicke lecture competition).

 

For a participation in the competition, please note the following guidelines:

  • Please submit the Short Abstract for your poster in English, with a maximum of 1.500 characters and a maximum of 6 authors. We only accept online submissions. Please submit your Short Abstract through our congress management system. You need to be registered as a participant for the DKG Annual Meeting 2017.
  • The lectures on the poster presentations take place on Monday, March 20th, 2017. Your lecture needs to be held in English and has a time limit of 2 minutes (structure: title, question, methods, results).
  • The lecture will be held with an accompanying PowerPoint presentation, with a total of 2 slides in English. The slides for your presentation need to be submitted online until Tuesday, February 28th, 2017. In case we do not receive any slides until this date, we cannot take your application into account for the poster competition.
  • After the presentations, there will be an inspection of the posters by the jury and the conference participants, which will take place during the Get-Together on Monday, March 20th, 2017. The inspection requires the presence of the posters’ author.
  • Format of the posters: DIN-A0, vertical (841 mm x 1189 mm)
  • All posters must be attached to the provided partition walls by the authors themselves on Monday, March 20th, 2017, between 8 and 10 am. After the DKG Annual Meeting, the posters also must be removed by the authors.
  • The award ceremony of the poster competition will take place on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, starting at 7 pm, during the DKG Social Evening. We expect all participants of the poster competition to attend the Social Evening and the award ceremony.

The top three posters will be awarded, and the sponsor has provided the following cash prizes:

1st prize: 750 EUR

2nd prize: 500 EUR

3rd prize: 250 EUR
